Residential
Treatment
The PCS Castle program provides separate residential treatment processes
for drug and alcohol addicted persons. The program is certified and
operated two fully licensed and accredited facilities, which accommodate
male and female clients, ages 18 and older. PCS
Castle provides a minimal six to nine month treatment milieu, which
emphasizes integration of individual, family, and the community.
The clients and
staff of PCS Castle comprise a caring, structured, and ,therapeutic community.
The responsibility
for recovery lies with the client and is based upon a program of self-disclosure,
self-examination, sharing, trust, decision-making, and commitment. Qualified
staff guides clients through this process utilizing the following services:

Outpatient
Treatment
Outpatient treatment is available to those persons whose physical and
emotional conditions indicate they might be treated effectively on an
outpatient basis. PCS Castle Outpatient also provides education and
counseling to persons who share a significant relationship with the
addicted persons.

Outpatient Component offers the client two basic plans for service
delivery. |

Long-term
treatment requires a nine-month program commitment where and in-depth
treatment process is provided. |
| 2.
|
Short-term
treatment requires a 12-week program commitment and is available
to persons with minimal drug or alcohol involvement. This treatment
cycle provides prevention and education services. |

Criteria for PCS Castle Substance Abuse Programs
Male and female, ages 18 and older
Must have a primary problem of substance abuse

do I make arrangements for admission of clients?
Call the PCS Castle Intake Office at 323-732-9124 or come by the PCS
Castle Program at 3021 S. Vermont Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.
A skilled intake person will be available to assist you. The intake
center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
