Since 1939, People Coordinated Services has remained committed to founding principle that "we are our brother's keeper." Starting with only a handful of clients and and $8,000 budget, the agency has enjoyed a history which is rich with the successful accomplishments of our clients. These successful outcomes have been attained through a dedicated staff and programs which respond to the changing needs of our constituents.

As an active community member, we are proud of this history of response. The inclusion of community and clients in the identification of needs, promotes the development and refinement of agency programs. We recognize the importance of community networking, the development of clients and advocates, leaders and volunteers and the prudent utilization of agency resources.

We continue to serve over 20,000 individuals each year through an active senior information and referral program, community substance abuse recovery support systems and a variety of youth after school education and recreation programs. We are pleased to join our City, United Way and the body of social service organizations in striving for a community agenda which promotes self-sufficiency, educational attainment, health, safety, and community empowerment.
